Fun facts

  1. At 268 feet, Snoqualmie Falls is over 100 feet taller than Niagara Falls.

  2. Snoqualmie Falls and the surrounding area (including the Salish Lodge) is owned by the Snoqualmie Tribe.

  3. It was featured on the cult TV show, Twin Peaks.

  4. The type of rock that it's falling over is granite.

  5. The Falls also have a hydroelectric energy plant which helps provide energy to local residents through the Puget Sound Energy company.

  6. Approximately 1% of the Puget Sound Energy comes from the falls.
